"Prayer in Open D" - Emmylou Harris (통기타 좋아하시는 분들용)
이곡은 93년도 나온 "Cowgirl's Prayer"라는 앨범에 수록된 곡으로서 몇년전에 가진 콘서트에서 Emmylou가 혼자 통기타를 치면서 노래하는 것입니다.
이 곡의 요지는 생애 자신이 행한 수 많은 옳지 못했던 행위로 지금 자신의 주변에는 온통 고통과 암흑밖에 없음을 눈물로 호소하며 기도하는 내용입니다. 마치 우리들의 입장을 Emmylou가 대신하여 노래해 주는 듯한 느낌을 갖습니다.
대부분 클래식기타를 즐기시겠지만 혹시 회원님들 중에 기타 치시는 분이 계시다면 기타줄을 Open D 튜닝으로 맞추시고 한번 시도 해보시기를 권고 싶습니다. 1번줄부터 6번줄까지 E B G D A E로 되어 있는 것이 정상이지만, 이 곡에서는 D A D F# A D 순서로 줄을 맞추시면 됩니다.
