Twenty years ago Sergio Abreu was winning international acclaim as a recording and performing artist. Today his energies are devoted to building classical guitars of excellent quality. These instruments reflect his intimate knowledge of guitars by Hauser I, Simplicio, and Santos Hernandez; all used during Abreu's performing career. In a recent conversation, Sergio mentioned that the German spruce used on his guitars is typically aged 30 years, with the top of our current offering aged 40 years.
