Lot 289 A 1962 Classical guitar by Robert Bouchet

A magnificet example of Bouchet's work from his finest 'Bream' period.

It bears a label which Bouchet not only designed but printed himself.

It is signed and dated on a back brace, with the additional serial number

of 81(of a toal output of only around 154insturments).

In perfect condition, with no repairs or cracks, original finish, and only minor

playing wear. It has Bouchet's iconic head-shape, classic five fanbraces, and

boday made of dark Brazilian rosewood, with the original 'retro' tuning

machines. String length 650mm.

This guitar spent most of its early life in and around Paris and Belgium.
