오늘 소개할 편곡 악보는 '샤르팡티에(Marc-Antoine Charpentier)' 의 '떼데움(Te Deum)' 전주곡 입니다.


"떼데움(Te Deum, 사은찬미, 주여 당신을 찬양하나이다.)"은 밀라노의 주교였던 '암브로시오'가 텍스트를 쓴 것으로 후일 주교학자가 된 '성 아우구스티노'에게 세례를 줄 때 즉흥적으로 부른 노래로서 두 사람이 한 구절씩 교창하였다고 전해지고 있습니다.


그 후 이 노래는 아침기도나 각종 축하식 등에서 연주되기 시작하였는데, '샤르팡티에'의 '떼데움'은 일반적인 '루이' 왕조기의 예술에서 연상할 수 있는 연약함을 타파하는 보무도 당당한 작품입니다.


특히 "트럼펫의 아리아"로도 알려져 있는 론도형식의 전주곡은 박력만점의 곡으로 , 모 방송국의 실황연주 중계시 사용되는 로고송으로도 우리에게 많이 익숙한 곡 입니다.
