이번에 소개할 편곡 악보는 캐나다 출신의 뮤지션인 'Bill Douglas'의 'Hymn' 입니다.

빌 더글라스가 국내에 알려진 것은 그의 곡 'Deep peace' 가 드라마 배경 음악으로 사용되면서 였으며, FM 라디오 프로 '당신의 밤과 음악'의 시그널로 그의 1집 'JEWEL LAKE'에 수록된 'Hymn' 이 사용되면서 본격적으로 알려지기 시작했습니다.

작곡가이자 피아노, 바순 연주자인 빌 더글라스는 뛰어난 음악성을 지님과 동시에, 귀와 마음을 어지럽히지 않는 편안함과 감동을 주는 자연 친화적인 음악가라는 찬사를 받고 있는데 바순(bassoon)의 낭랑한 운율이 울려퍼지면서 우수의 노스탤지아를 불러일으키는 그 곡이, 바로 이번에 소개하는 'Hymn'이라는 곡 입니다.
