GREENFIELDS ( Classical Guitar Sheet Music with TAB/ 클래식기타 악보 타브 / 진태권 )

이번에 소개할 편곡 악보는 'Thr Brothers Four'의 'GREENFIELDS' 입니다.


"브라더즈 포 (The Brothers Four)" 그룹은 미국 출신의 4인조 밴드인데 1957년 워싱턴주 시애틀에서 결성되었으며 1960년 그들의 대표적인 히트곡 “그린필즈(Greenfields)” 로 명성을 얻었습니다.

 

미국의 1960년대 가장 유망한그룹으로 선정되기도 하였던 "브라더즈 포 (The Brothers Four)" 그룹은  이후 존 웨인의 영화 “The Alamo" 주제가 "The Green Leaves of Summer" 와 TV 시리즈 음악을 취입하기도 했는데  그러나 1960년대 잘나가던 이 그룹은 영국의 록 가수들 "밥 딜런 (Bob Dylan)" 등의 출현으로 팬들의 사랑이 식게 되자그들은 미국이 아닌 일본에서 그 유명세를 이어갔다고  합니다.


이후 우여곡절 끝에 멤버들이 바뀌고 50년의 세월이 흘렀지만 아직도 그룹을 유지하고 있다고 합니다.


국내에서도 1970년대 격동기에 대학가 젊은이를 중심으로 "Greenfields", "Try to Remember", "Seven Daffodils", "Green Leaves of Summer", "Yellow Bird" 등의 대표곡이 많은 사랑을 받았는데  특히 국내 인기 포크가수 양희은이 이들의 "Seven Daffodils" 를 번안한 "일곱 송이수선화" 를 불러  더욱 친숙한 가수가 되었습니다.

    진 선생님의 진심은 잘 아는데 어느 곡 하나 악보가 보이는게 없으니
    ... 제 PC가 잘못된건가요? 아니면 선생님께서 착각하셔서 안올리신건가요?
