Hi.
I was very happy to hear the Korean team did it again! Unfortunately I could not see the game, because I was at work. But after the first part I called Frank and he told me the situation that far: 0-1. :(
Later I noticed one of our salesmen changed the text-tv (that is strictly for traininformation) to the site that showed the results of the game Korea-Italy and at that point it was 1-1. I had something to do outside the building and when I returned I called Frank again (he said I made him crazy by calling that often!) and he told me the final result. Of course I am very, very happy for you! I hope you enjoyed the game and celebrated this victory. It was so nice to see all those people in red, being happy and party, it makes me smile all the time. I think I can watch the next game against Spain and be sure that I will.
Later this evening I watched tv and saw an interview with Guus Hiddink, very nice to hear what he has to say.
Earlier this morning I noticed Turkey won the game from Japan, because I could hear and see lots of people with Turkish flags, very cheerful, outside on the streets where I work. They were very happy!
The neighbourhood where Iwork is one where lots of foreigners live, especially Turkish, South-american, North-african, Antillian and Surinam people, it is a real meltingpot of cultures and colours. Besides: this morning I went to work on my bicycle and then I come across a small street a few hundred meters from my work. In this street is a hostel for backpackers, but I noticed there was a Korean flag hanging on this building. I assume there were Koreans staying in this hostel then.
Enjoy the feeling of victory!
Take care,
Inge
