작곡 : I. Albeniz(1860-1909)
곡명 : El Corpus Christi en Sevilla(세비야의 성체행렬)
연주 : Alicia de Larrocha(Pf.)

스페인음악을 자신의 장끼로 삼고 있는 라로차가 이 곡을 녹음하지 않았다면 이상한 것일 게다.

이 곡이 알베니스의 원곡이니 만큼 다른 편곡 버전에 우선하여 들어보아야 할 것이다.

그녀의 명성에 걸맞는 깔끔하고 군더더기가 없는 연주다.

56초 부분에서는 바흐의 코랄을 연상케 한다.

관현악 연주도 좋지만 피아노 곡에서 스페인적인 감흥이 더 느껴진다.

이상으로 스페인의 세비야에서 행해진 성주간의 음악에 대해 주마간산격으로 흝어보았다.

민속적인 음악은 그 자체로도 충분히 가치가 있고 아름답지만 유능한 작곡가의 뛰어난 솜씨에 의해 조명되었을 때 더욱 빛을 발한다.

성주간의 음악이 민속성을 표현하는 단계에 머물러 있었다면 내가 그토록 스페인 음악에 심취하지는 않았을 것이다.

얼핏 단순해보이는 행진곡풍의 음악이나 뭐라 중얼대는 듯한 노래들이 로드리고나 알베니스와 같은 작곡가에 의해 아름답게 승화되는 과정은 한 편의 드라마를 보는 듯 감동적이다.

플라멩꼬가 단지 스페인의 민속음악이라는 좁은 시각이 아니라 그 음악이 어떻게 발전되고 승화되는가 하는 과정을 훑어본 것은 즐겁고도 무척 유익한 시간이었다고 생각한다.

La Tarara si la Tarara no... por Camaron de la Isla o Carmen Linares

La Tarara si la Tarara no....는 피아노의 첫 도입부를 말하는 것으로 보이네요.
이 선율은 Garcia Lorca가 채보한 "canciones españolas antiguas"에서도 나옵니다.
스페인 분이신가?
영어도 아니고 스페인어 리플은 처음이군요.
스페인어에 능통하면 좋으련만...

Camaron de la Isla가 연주한 곡 중에는 "La Leyenda Del Tiempo"라는 앨범에 "La Tarara"가 나오네요.
이 선율은 스페인에 광범위하게 퍼져있던 노래였던 것 같아요.
Carmen Linares는 Lorca의 "Canciones españolas antiguas"을 새롭게 해석(Interpretacion)한 앨범에 나오는군요.
