이번에 소개할 편곡 악보는 'Cherry Pink And Apple Blossom White' 입니다.

이곡은 ‘맘보의 왕’이란 별명을 가지고 있는 쿠바 출신의 밴드 리더 '페레즈 프라도(Perez Prado)'가 1955년 발표한 인스트루멘탈 곡으로 US 10주간 1위, UK 2주간 1위 등을 기록한 곡 입니다.

스페인 출신의 프랑스 뮤지션 '루이 구글리엘미(Louis Guglielmi, Louiguy)"가 곡을 짓고 '자크 라루(Jacques Larue)'가 가사를 쓴 샹송으로 원래 제목은 'Cerisier Rose Et Pommer Blanc' 인데 '페레즈'는 1951년 원래 버전에 충실한 곡으로 발표했으나 1955년에는 맘보 버전으로 바꾸어 발표했습니다.

'페레즈'는 '존 스터지스(John Sturges)' 감독의 영화 <해저의 황금(Underwater!)>에 사용하기 위해 연주 버전으로 만들었고 영화에서는 US 영화배우 '제인 러셀(Jane Russell)'이 이 곡에 맞춰 춤을 추게 되는데 이후 이 곡이 히트한 후 영어 가사 버전이 발표되어 셀 수 없이 많은 가수들이 커버했습니다.

국내에서는 '안다성'이 '체리핑크맘보'라는 제목으로 번안해 불렀습니다.
