이번에 소개할 편곡 악보는 '비틀즈'의 'In My Life' 입니다.

이곡은 '비틀즈'의 1965년 음반 'Rubber Soul'에 실려 발표된 곡으로 '레논-매카트니'의 명의로 크레디트 되어 있는 곡 입니다.

'존 레논'이 보컬을 담당하였으며 '존'이 그동안 살아오면서 만나왔던 사람들과 장소에 대해서 언급하면서도, 그것들보다 당신을 더 사랑한다는 내용입니다.

향수를 불러오는 가사나 멜로디 때문에 비틀즈 명곡을 뽑을때 자주 뽑히는 곡으로 초기 가사는 '존 레논'이 어린 시절 버스를 타고 지나쳤던 동네의 특징이나 구체적인 지명을 삽입한 내용이었지만 마음에 안들어서 폐기하고 현재의 가사로 완성되었다고 하네요.

2004년, '롤링 스톤'의 '역대 가장 위대한 노래 500곡' 순위에서 23위, '비틀즈 최고의 노래 100곡' 순위에서 5위에 선정됐고, 2004년 '캐나다 방송 혐회'의 '50 트랙' 순위에서 2위에 선정된 곡 입니다.
