오늘 소개할 편곡 악보는 대한민국 국민이면 누구나 알고 있는 노사연님의  '만남' 입니다.

가수 '노사연'은 대학가요제 출신으로 1978년에 '돌고 돌아가는 길'이란 노래로 제2회 문화방송 대학가요제에 출전, 금상을 수상했으며, 1989년 발매된 2집 앨범 수록곡 '만남'이 큰 인기를 끌면서 1992년 MBC 10대 가수가요제 최고 인기상을 차지했습니다.

1989년 노사연의 2집에 수록된 곡으로 '만남'은 국민적인 사랑을 받으면서 탈북자들이 가장 좋아하는 인기곡으로 꼽혔을 뿐만 아니라,  이미 고인된 김대중 전대통령을 비롯하여 정치인과 각계 저명인사들이 좋아하는 곡이지만 사연이 많거나 외롭고 힘든 소외된 계층에게 많은 인기를 얻고 있는 곡이기도 합니다. 

1948년 우리나라 정부수립 후 대중음악 50년 사 베스트 50곡 중 40위에 오른 작품이기도 합니다. 

 

'만남'이 만들어진 건 1986년 입니다만,  대중에게 발표된 건 그로부터 3년 뒤인 1989년.
  

'만남' 작곡가는 '최대석' 씨로  노래를 부른 노사연의 막내 이모부인데 미국서 사업을 하는 최 씨는 흥미롭게도 노래엔 문외한으로 알려져 있습니다.

4분의 4박자, 슬로우 록의 이 노래는  2010년 3월에 인천 파워 오피니언 리더들이 가장 많이 즐겨 부르는 노래로 조사됐다는 기사와 함께 이들이 애창곡을 꼽은 이유로 '좋은 노랫말'과 '사연' 등을 들기도 하였습니다.
