르네상스 시대 독일의 작곡가겸 류트 연주자였던 Hans Neusidler(1508-1563) 의 Three Dances입니다.

며칠전까지 이 작곡가도 곡도 몰랐지만, 짧은 연습으로 거의 500년전의 분위기를 살짝이나마 엿볼 수 있어서 아주 즐거웠습니다.

곡이 3개 이므로 아래 나누어서 올립니다.

정작 조선시대 음악도 잘 모르면서 머나먼 독일의 15세기 음악에 취해 있다는게.. 좀 이상하긴 합니다. ^^

Neusidler was born in Pressburg and first enters the historical record in 1530, when he settled in Nuremberg. He was issued a residence permit by the city council in February, and married there in September. In April 1531 he became a citizen, and soon after bought a house on the Zotenberg. He taught lute there in the 1530s, publishing eight books of lute music between 1536 and 1549, and also went into business as a lute maker by 1550. He fathered thirteen children with his first wife, which resulted in his having enormous financial troubles; he eventually sold his house to pay his debts. In January 1556 his wife died, and he remarried five months later; his second wife bore him four more children before her death in August 1562. Neusidler died in Nuremberg.
Hans's sons, Melchior Neusidler (1531–1590) and Konrad Neusidler (1541-after 1604) were also well-known lutenists and composers.

대단하네요.. 첫 째 부인과 13명의 아이를 두고 결국 그 때문에 파산.. 집도 팔아버림.
첫 째 부인 사 후 바로 5개월 뒤 둘째 부인을 얻고 4명의 아이를 더 생산함. 도합 17명의 자녀를 둔 굉장히 정력적인 분이었나 봅니다.

작곡/연주와 더불어 류트 제작도 직접 하셨다고 하는군요.

주 활동무대는 뉴른베르크. (반갑네요, 그나마 다녀온 곳이라서요)
