Chapdelain 이 세고비아에게 레슨 받는 모습이 인상적이고 또 Controversial 한 레슨 같기도 합니다.
저한테는 감동적인 인터뷰 입니다. 정말 훌률한 제자라는 것이 이런 사람이란 생각이 듭니다.
저 같었으면 이런 선생 평생 원망만 했을것 같네요.
제가 Chapdelain이 나중에 인터뷰한 말중에서 몇가지 중요한것이 있다고 생각되어서 몇자 적습니다.
제 생각이나 말이아니고 Chapdelain의 말입니다.
(세고비아가 그에 fingering에 고집하는것에 대해서)
It's not stuburness, it's just we don't know what he knows and we haven't grown up and lived in a same tradition as he and maybe we haven't studied as much with the same commitment that he has.
이건 세고비아 고집이 아니고 우리가 그가 아는것을 모르는것뿐이고 또 우리는 세고비아가 자란 전통에서 살지못해봤고 아마 우리는 세고비아가 가졌었던 그런 신념을 가지고 공부를 한것 갖지가 않다.
I dont' blame him for finding it revolting that I wasn't playing his fingerings.
저는 제가 세고비아에 핑거링을 않 한것에대한 그에 노여움을 책망하지 않습니다.

He knew exactly what to do.
세고비아는 정확하게 무엇을 해야하는줄 압니다.
It's too unbelievable the way he treated me.
그가 저를 가르쳐주었던 태도는 정말 믿기지가 않을정도 입니다.

There is no other way that what I have ended up getting out of his class that I would have gotten unless he handle it the way that he did.
세고비아가 저에게 그에 방식으로 취급하지 않았더라면 절대로 제가 터득한것들을 그로부터 얻어내지 못했을것입니다.
(세고비아 3번째 레슨에서 도중에 쫒겨나고나서)
I went back to my room just had no idea what to do
제방으로 돌아와서 무엇을 해야할줄 몰랐습니다.
I practiced, listen and sang and did one of those mega days of practicing
연습을 하고 음악을 듣고 노래도 해보고 또 무진장 연습을하고
when my hands were just hurt and could not even play anymore
손이 아파서 연습을 못하게 되었을때
so I studied the score and sang the score
악보를 공부하고 노래를 불렀습니다.
and then while all these is happening, the things he was tried to teach us, were actually started to sink in.
그런시간을 보내는 와중에 세고비아가 가르치려는 것들이 정말로 이해가되고 가슴속에 와닿기 시작했습니다.
and then I was finally broken down to the point that He needed in order to get through.
그러고는 결국 저는 완전히 세고비아의 가르침에 필요성을 인정하게 되었습니다.
and then last night he just let me play and everything was changed.
그러고는 어제 끝까지 연주를 했고 모듣것이 변하기 시작했습니다.
